Do Photos need to be converted to JPeg

I am new to SlickPic and still trying to figure things out so any help would be appreciated.Do uploaded pictures need to be converted to JPeg format before uploading? I uploaded some DNG format photos and they all look pink.

JPEG is the format used for images on the internet. In order to display photos in your gallery or portfolio website, you need to upload JPEGs.

We support pretty much every image format. However, RAW files (including DNG) are not supported by Internet Browsers and are best used for storing as backups. Remember, RAW files are digital negatives which you’re supposed to post-process and create a JPEG from. All RAW converters are different, and it’s likely that a converted may produce a different version of the image than you initially had, hence we suggest to upload in JPEG.
